We love our dads… Becky’s dad, Bruce, sang a beautiful song that he wrote for Becky during the reception. And Noah’s dad gave a nice toast!

Our beautiful families!

Our love began when we met at a home bible study on Kauai. We began dating officially in February 2004. Did the “long distance relationship” for 2 years while Becky finished college in California. Noah would find every excuse to visit Becky in California, and Becky would return to Kauai for christmas & summer breaks. Our love stayed strong when Becky moved back to Kauai after graduating in 2006. We’ve enjoyed getting to spend time together for the last 2 years here on Kauai, and having the opportunity to share in each other’s passions of Photography and Filmmaking.

(BY BECKY) Noah was on Oahu for work, so I flew over to celebrate the New Year with him! We planned to go on a date (dinner and a movie) on January 1st. So, all dressed up, we headed down toward Haleiwa. Noah had been wanting to show me a photo shoot area at Sharks Cove. So he suggested we stop there on the way to take a photo of us with my camera. So we pulled over and walked out onto the lava rock. It was a beautiful night, nearing sunset time. As Noah was “setting up the camera” I turned to go sit where we would be posing for the shot. He told me not to sit down yet. I turned around and there he was on his knee, holding a ring in his hand, with the hugest smile in his face. I thought for a second he was joking and said “Are you serious!?” He said he loved me and asked me to marry him. I said “Yes! Of course!” Then he put the ring* on my finger and we hugged and kissed. I was in shock and Noah was super shaky from excitement/nerves! After dating for about 5 years and anticipating this for a few months, I couldn’t believe it happened so fast!

Then out of the corner of my eye I see this photographer, Ramona, pointing her camera at us, and up walked Noah’s buddy, Big John, with a video camera – they had been documenting the whole thing!

We’re both super stoked! We ended up doing a photo shoot with Ramona then eating dinner at 8:30pm.

The ring (photo on homepage) is very special to me since the stones come from a ring I inherited from my Great Grandmother, and NOAH DESIGNED this ring specially for me! Local jeweler, Jim Saylor, created it.

We hope to blossom Noah’s wedding/other photography as a team. And we’d also love to be involved with more film, tv, and music video projects together. We plan to live on the north shore of Kauai. But our future certainly is not limited, and we’re open to whatever God has for us!
